Hi, My name is Brooke. My middle name is Gale. So my name means “small river, big wind storm,” which pretty much describes me. I am calm and go with the flow, but I also like to stir things up, (mostly with my writing)

(I want people to be refreshed by the Living Water inside of me and experience the complete beauty and freedom of blowing from here to there and there to here with the Spirit.)

I grew up in a small town in New Hampshire. I was home-schooled and loved animals more then people.  I was  over-churched and hated myself and all fear that controlled me.

But I knew I was going to  be a writer since I was three. Now I am.

I used to live on a bus.  I’ve never been to college.  I have rejected religion and embraced life with Jesus and been set free like I can’t even describe here. I’ve had a weird life, but it’s been a ride.

(and I wouldn’t have it any other way)

Among other things, I am a poet, a friend,  a journalist, a cook and a “missionary.”

(I put the word in quotations because it might invoke images of street preachers with wild hair yelling about hell.)

Basically, my whole life is to love people, and create things that tell the greatest message in the history of the world.

It really is THAT awesome.

I want to give the world a glimpse of the incredible Grace I have experienced.

I want to get out of my head, and let Love  (AKA Jesus) take over.
